Information on return eligibility, timelines, and other terms & conditions for items purchased on www.rajeshcycle.com. Most items are returnable within the return window listed against each category. Items explicitly marked "Non-returnable" on the product page are excluded.

For returned items, the refund is issued to the original payment method (for prepaid orders) or via NEFT/IMPS bank transfer to the customer's account (for Cash on Delivery orders). Timelines are detailed in Section 7 — Refund timelines.

Quick solutions

1. General returns policy

  1. Eligible items can be returned within the applicable return window if they arrive physically damaged, with missing parts or accessories, defective, or different from the description on the product page.
  2. For bicycles delivered with a manufacturing defect, we may schedule a service-partner visit before approving a return — based on the partner's report we will repair, replace, or refund.
  3. We carry out verification checks at our warehouse and the return is processed only if:
    • the item was not damaged while in your possession,
    • the item is not different from what was shipped to you,
    • the item is in its original condition (with manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card, and all accessories included).
  4. Items may not be eligible for return in cases of buyer's remorse such as ordering the wrong size, wrong colour, or wrong product, unless the category policy explicitly allows it.
  5. Items marked "Non-returnable" on the product page cannot be returned. However, in the unlikely event you receive such an item damaged, defective, or wrong, we will provide a full refund or replacement after verification. We may contact you or pick up the item to ascertain the damage before issuing refund or replacement.
  6. Items are eligible for replacement only if we have the exact same SKU in stock. If the same SKU is unavailable at the time of approval, you may switch to a refund or pick a different size/colour of the same model at the same MRP (subject to availability).
  7. If you are returning an item that stores any personal information (helmet camera, smart cycling computer, fitness device), please remove all such information before returning. We are not responsible for any misuse of such information.
  8. If we find a customer is misusing the return policy by excessively returning, cancelling, or refusing to accept orders, we reserve the right to warn, suspend, block, or terminate that customer's account.

Note: If you receive a non-returnable item in damaged or defective condition, contact us within 5 days of delivery.

2. Return policy types & descriptions

Each product page lists which of the following policies applies to that item. Please confirm the policy on the product page before placing an order.

You may also return it for a refund within 7 days for change of mind, provided the item is in original condition with all tags, packaging, and accessories.

7-Day Service-partner visitFor premium bicycles and e-bikes, we may schedule a visit by an authorised service partner to inspect a reported defect within 7 days of delivery. Resolution (repair / replacement / refund) is based on the partner's report.
Damage on arrival onlySome accessories ship in tamper-evident packaging. They are eligible for replacement only if the seal is broken on arrival or the item is visibly damaged when delivered. Report within 48 hours.
Non-returnableThis item cannot be returned. Refund or replacement only if it arrives damaged, defective, or wrong — reported within 5 days of delivery.

Customers should always check the product page for the return / replacement policy applicable to that specific item before purchase. The product page is the source of truth and overrides the table above for any individual SKU.

4. How to start a return or replacement

  1. Sign in and open your account → click the order you want to return.
  2. On the order page, click Request return — visible only after delivery and within the return window.
  3. Pick the line items you want to return.
  4. Choose the resolution: Refund or Replacement (where allowed by the category policy).
  5. Pick a reason and add an optional note + photo (photos help us approve faster for damage/defect cases).
  6. For COD orders, enter the bank account where the refund should be credited (account number, IFSC, beneficiary name).
  7. Submit. Status will show as Submitted on your order page.

Our team reviews every request within 1 business day. If approved, we'll email you the warehouse return address and a return label, and the status will flip to Approved · awaiting your shipment. You then courier the item back within 5 days of approval using a tracked courier service.

Reverse pickup is not currently available. All returns are self-ship today. We are working on PIN-code-based pickup; until then, please use a tracked courier and keep the receipt for shipping reimbursement (where applicable — see Section 5).

5. Who pays for return shipping

6. Inspection & approval

Once the returned item arrives at our warehouse, we inspect it within 2 business days and notify you of the outcome. You can track the status on your order page:

  • Submitted — we received your request.
  • Approved · awaiting your shipment — ship within 5 days.
  • Items received — we have your parcel; inspection in progress.
  • Refunded — refund initiated to your account.
  • Replacement shipped — new unit is on its way (with fresh tracking number).
  • Declined — rejected on inspection or eligibility; reason emailed.

If we decline a return because the item failed inspection (used, missing accessories, tampered packaging), we will return it to you at our cost.

For COD orders we cannot refund cash. We need IFSC, account number, and beneficiary name on the return form — without those we cannot process the refund.

8. Replacement specifics

  • Same SKU swap is the default. A different size or colour is allowed only if it's the same model and same MRP.
  • If the same SKU is unavailable, you can switch to a refund at any point before we dispatch the replacement.
  • Replacement is one-time per order line. If the replacement also has a defect, we move you to a refund.
  • You pay the return shipping for the original item; we cover the dispatch of the replacement.
  • For premium bicycles / e-bikes, replacement may be processed via our service partner instead of full unit swap if the defect can be fixed at home.

9. Order cancellation (different from return)

  • You can cancel any time before the order ships at no cost from your order page → Cancel order. For COD no refund is needed because no money was collected.
  • Once the order ships you can no longer cancel — only return after delivery.
  • For prepaid orders cancelled before shipping, the refund follows the timeline in Section 7.

10. Damaged in transit

If your shipment arrives visibly damaged (crushed box, broken tape seal, leaking, etc.), refuse delivery from the courier and email us immediately at orders@rajeshcycle.com with photos of the package. We'll arrange a free replacement or a full refund — including original shipping cost.

11. Misuse of the return policy

If we find that a customer is misusing the return policy — for example, by excessively returning items, repeatedly cancelling COD orders, refusing delivery without reason, or attempting to return items in a non-original condition — we reserve the right to warn, suspend, block, or terminate that customer's account, as necessary.

12. Disputes

If you disagree with our inspection result or refund decision, write to orders@rajeshcycle.com within 7 days of our decision with photos and your order number. We will respond within 3 business days.

13. International orders

We currently ship only within India. For any pre-existing international orders, items are not eligible for return — only refunds within 5 business days of delivery (or estimated delivery), claimed via email.

14. Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order. Last updated on the date shown at the top of this page.
